UPDATES for 2009

its been a while since i put something down in here but this is the goal as far as development goes for the rest of the year.

completion of the main website style sheet and completion of the video i've been creating with a few changes to the parts already produced.

probably find a new server for the website because the current one seems to be down a lot and finally get a domain name and make things a little more official as far as this whole chronostar concept goes.

i will be releasing some images on the website which can be used as backgrounds steming from the video i'm making so you guys can have some high res stills. i'm going to host all the videos on the server and use divx as the main codec due to how clear videos just look on it and also because it has less pixelization.

For those wondering what i'm using to do all this its pretty simple stuff

i make hand drawings scan them into photoshop and then use them to create frames of animation, some tweening and then export the thing into a video.

pc specs are as follows

intel pentium D 3.2 ghz
4gigs of ddr2 400 ram
ECS mobo crossfire ready
ati hd 3450 256mb crossfire
500 gb of storage on two seagate hdds
mouse and keyboard :)

End of the year Report

As you know i have been building the video for the first episode of the dawning, and up til now i have stopped making anymore due to the lack of time and also because i have been buildig all of the necessary source drawings for the animations to use.

I have received some feed back on the current video and based on that i have decided to make some changes to make the story a little more accessible.

New Update look

Hey fellas i'm going to work on a new design for the website that will make it the most advanced site i have built to date. keep an eye out i just broke ground on the new style today and it should be finished in about a month.

HOMEPAGE

Chronostar Universe is an extension of Chronostar Graphics, and it is the official home of the Chronostar Universe. This story is divided into 5 main books, each book has at least three chapters and each chapter is broken down inte sections (episodes).
The books are title as follows
1. Genesis
2. Razor
3. Chronos
4. Dark Earth
5. Rebirth
The books are still under revision for continuity however there are some parts that are finally settled upon so this is one of the reasons why i decided to begin building the prelude video. it was also of interest to me to see what this would look like and also to begin to visualize what this world is going to be like i've been in the process of drawing and designing along with developing this story now for well over a decade and now its time to begin to compile all of my efforst and bring them out into the world enjoy.

comming up in the next few months is going to be the developmental videos for sceene 2, if you dont want spoliers dont watch any until it is finished, and stop reading right now.

The next sceene begins with the Shadow crashing into a mountain range in california, the crash is monitored by the UDF as they detected the shadow in its way to earth. and at the same time a group of special forces is sent to retrieve the remains from the crash site but unknown to them something has survived and is looking for something that it noticed on its way down to earth.

Coincidentally today is the big festival commemortating the day the nations of earth united to create a one world union with festivities being celebrated all around the world this day has become known as Unity day.

And its is on this day that the fate of human kind will be sealed and forever altered, this time will soon become known to all as teh Dawning.

Mothership

Here are some pre-video rendering i made just to get the scope and design of part one of my video project as you can see not much changed

anyway the following data has been classified by the UDF head honcho but i will detail some of the specs of this thing anyways.

This starship uses a form of FTL called transelipse.
FTL travel by transelipse varies in time based on distance and the speed of light, causes living matter to be destroyed. but it also has a secondary magnetic distortion drive in case the ship is to carry living matter.

this starship could fit Oceana one and a half times inside it but in a face to face
match there would be no contest this starship is heavily armed and shielded with technology that is lightyears ahead of what currently being used is Earth.
